Furkan Çömez ("Developer", "we", "us", "our") operates the ForCouples mobile application ("App", "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. By using ForCouples, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2.1 Personal Information You Provide
When you create an account and use ForCouples, we may collect the following personal information: • Full name and surname • Email address • Date of birth (used to calculate zodiac sign) • Profile photo • Couple photo • Relationship status and anniversary dates • Mood entries (daily personal mood and couple mood) • Calendar events (titles, dates, descriptions, notes) • Chat messages sent to ForKi AI assistant • Personal notes for horoscope requests • Partner quiz answers • Story content • Watchlist items and ratings • Support request messages • Account deletion feedback
2.2 Automatically Collected Information

4. AI-Powered Features and Data Sharing
4.1 Google Gemini AI
We use Google's Gemini AI to generate personalized content. The following data may be shared with Google's Gemini API depending on the feature: Personalized Horoscope: • Zodiac signs (yours and your partner's) • Current mood data (personal, partner, and couple mood — if logged) • Upcoming calendar events (titles and dates only) • Personal note (if you write one) • Language preference ForKi Chat (Relationship Advice, Date Plans, Gift Ideas): • Current mood data • Relationship status and duration • Personality insights derived from past interactions • Your message and preferences • Language preference ForKi Chat (Movie & Series Recommendations): • Your preferences (genre, duration, media type) • Your existing watchlist (titles only) • Your past session ratings and feedback • Language preference Story Builder: • Selected genre • Language preference • Previous story openers (to avoid repetition) Daily Content (Daily Question, This or That, Trivia Quiz, Daily Horoscopes): • Date • Zodiac signs (for horoscopes only) • Recent content (to avoid repetition) This data is sent to Google's Gemini API solely for content generation and is processed according to Google's API data usage policies. We do not use your data to train AI models.
4.2 OMDB API
We use the Open Movie Database (OMDB) API to fetch movie and TV series information for ForKi's recommendation feature. Only movie/series identifiers (IMDB IDs) are shared with OMDB. No personal user data is sent to this service.
4.3 Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device information, advertising identifiers, and usage data to serve relevant ads. 4.4 Data We NEVER Share with Third Parties
We never share the following data with any third-party service, including AI providers: • Your email address • Your phone number • Your photos (profile or couple photos) • Your diary entries • Your location data • Your payment or billing information • Your account credentials
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers using MongoDB Atlas with encryption at rest. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We implement industry-standard security measures including: • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) • Encrypted data storage • JWT-based authentication with refresh tokens • Session management with device tracking • Rate limiting to prevent abuse • Input sanitization to prevent injection attacks • Request correlation IDs for audit trails While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. Specific retention periods: • Account data: Retained until account deletion • Match data: Deleted when a match is ended by either partner • Chat sessions: Retained for the duration of the match • Diary entries: Retained for the duration of the match • Streak data: Retained for the duration of the match • Support requests: Retained for up to 2 years after resolution • Transaction records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers. This includes your profile, photos, diary entries, streaks, chat history, horoscopes, match data, and calendar events.
7. In-App Purchases
ForCouples offers in-app purchases including subscription plans (Premium, Elite) and coin packages. All payments are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information. Subscription management and billing are handled entirely by Apple or Google. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for payment data handling.
8. Push Notifications
We send push notifications for partner activity, streak reminders, daily content availability, and other app-related updates. You can manage your notification preferences within the App under Settings > Notifications, or disable them entirely through your device settings.
