Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ForCouples mobile application ("App", "Service") developed and operated by Furkan Çömez ("Developer", "we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using ForCouples, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use ForCouples. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete all associated data.
3. Account Registration
To use ForCouples, you must create an account by providing your name, email address, and date of birth. You are responsible for: • Providing accurate and truthful information • Maintaining the security of your account credentials • All activities that occur under your account • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account You may only create one account per person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Partner Matching
ForCouples connects you with your romantic partner through QR code scanning. By matching with a partner, you consent to sharing certain information with them through the App, including: • Your name and profile photo • Daily question answers (after both partners have answered) • Shared diary entries • Shared calendar events • Mood data • Streak progress • Quiz and game results Either partner can end the match at any time, which will permanently delete all shared data.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1 Subscription Plans
ForCouples offers three tiers: Free, Premium, and Elite. Paid subscriptions are available on weekly, monthly, or yearly billing cycles. Subscription features, pricing, and weekly rights allocations may change at any time. Current details are available within the App.
5.2 Billing and Renewal
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
5.3 Refunds
Refund requests for subscriptions and in-app purchases must be directed to Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), as they handle all payment processing. We do not directly process refunds. Please refer to Apple's or Google's refund policies for details.
6. In-App Currency (Coins)
ForCouples uses a virtual currency system called "Coins". Coins can be earned through: • Watching advertisements • Reaching streak milestones • Spinning the daily wheel • Receiving subscription sign-up bonuses Coins can also be purchased via in-app purchases. Coins can be used to access premium features when weekly rights are exhausted. Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded for real currency. Unused coins are forfeited upon account deletion.
7. Weekly Rights
Each subscription tier provides a set number of "weekly rights" for specific features (e.g., Partner Quiz, Story Builder, ForKi Chat, Personalized Horoscope, Streak Repair). Weekly rights reset every 7 days based on your subscription start date. Unused weekly rights do not carry over to the following period.
8. AI-Generated Content
ForCouples uses Google's Gemini AI to generate various types of content, including but not limited to: daily questions, horoscopes, quizzes, story prompts, relationship advice, date plan suggestions, gift ideas, and movie recommendations. Important disclaimers regarding AI-generated content: • AI-generated content is for entertainment and informational purposes only • AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice (medical, psychological, legal, financial, or otherwise) • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content • AI-generated horoscopes are for entertainment and should not be used as a basis for making life decisions • AI relationship advice is not a substitute for professional counseling • You should consult qualified professionals for any serious relationship, health, or legal concerns We are not responsible for any actions taken based on AI-generated content.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create within the App, including diary entries, quiz questions, stories, calendar events, and photos. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you create and share. You agree not to post content that is: • Illegal, harmful, or threatening • Abusive, harassing, or discriminatory • Defamatory or invasive of privacy • Containing malware or harmful code • Infringing on intellectual property rights • Sexually explicit or obscene • Promoting violence or self-harm
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: • Use the App for any illegal purpose • Create fake or misleading accounts • Attempt to access other users' accounts • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App • Circumvent security measures or rate limits • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers • Interfere with the proper functioning of the App • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities (please report them to us instead) • Use the App to harass, stalk, or intimidate others • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App or its content • Manipulate streak data, coin balances, or subscription status • Create multiple accounts to abuse free-tier benefits
11. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, graphics, logos, and AI-generated content templates, is the intellectual property of Furkan Çömez and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our explicit written permission. All third-party trademarks, logos, and brand names mentioned within the App belong to their respective owners.
12. Account Termination
12.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data, including profile information, photos, diary entries, streaks, chat history, horoscopes, match data, coins, and subscription benefits will be permanently deleted. Deletion of your account does not automatically cancel active App Store or Google Play subscriptions. You must cancel your subscription separately through the respective store.
12.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to: • Violation of these Terms • Abusive or harmful behavior • Fraudulent activity • Extended periods of inactivity • Legal or regulatory requirements In the event of termination by us, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via your registered email address.
13. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that: • The App will be available at all times without interruption • The App will be free of errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities • AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your needs • The App will meet your specific requirements or expectations • Any data stored within the App will never be lost You use the App at your own risk.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Furkan Çömez shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including but not limited to: • Loss of data or content • Loss of profits or revenue • Emotional distress or relationship outcomes • Reliance on AI-generated content • Service interruptions or downtime • Unauthorized access to your account Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Furkan Çömez from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: • Your use of the App • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any third-party rights • Content you create or share through the App
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey. Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute by contacting us at [email protected] and engaging in good-faith negotiations for at least 30 days.
17. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting updated Terms within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
